Children’s Bible Classes

Bible classes for cradle roll through 5th grade meet twice weekly!

Bible Hours

Children ages 2 through 1st grade can attend their own age-appropriate time of bible lessons, singing, and crafts during the Sunday morning sermon! This ministry helps prepare our younger children for participation in the larger worship service as well as allowing parents of younger children to focus on their own worship experience.

Children’s Check-in

We are excited to now offer printable children's name tags and electronic self-check-in! Kiosks are located by the children's desk. First-time-visitors, please inquire at children's desk to gain access.

JAM (Jesus and Me) Devotionals

Quarterly Sunday evening devotionals just for 1st-5th graders and families!

Children’s & Family Activities

Brown Street Kids always look forward to our seasonal family activities, including:

• Family Easter Egg Hunt
• Fall Festival
• Breakfast with Santa

Nursery

Volunteers staff the infant nursery during bible classes and worship services.

Dream Makers Preschool (DMP)

Brown Street offers a pre-school program that meets Tuesdays & Thursdays, with an option to add Monday.

Attendance Card Pickup

Our young boys eagerly practice early leadership roles by collecting attendance cards along the pews at the end of each service.

Leadership Training for Christ (LTC)

Brown Street kids grades 3-12 can participate in the North Texas chapter of LTC, an association of church of Christ youth groups, to practice and strengthen church leadership skills and confidence through various events, challenges and project options. The LTC Convention always takes place Easter weekend.

FaithGirlz

Girls 4th through 7th grade get together monthly to study the Bible, craft, serve, and have fun with friends!

Summer Events

Camp Canaan

Brown Street joins with six other North Texas churches of Christ for an epic summer camp in Bridgeport, Texas! For kids entering grades 3-6.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

A summer highlight and community favorite! Typically held in June, Brown Street VBS has exciting and energetic bible lessons, skits, activities, games, singing and crafts for kids 3-years-old (potty-trained) through entering 6th graders.
