RICK WILLIAMS

youth & family minister

A native of Groesbeck, Texas, Rick was baptized at the Groesbeck Church of Christ in 1992. He then went to Abilene Christian University where he and his wife Kara were introduced by his roommate over a game of Monopoly. They were married in 1998, and Rick graduated from the Brown Trail School of Preaching in 1999 to begin his journey in ministry.

Rick and Kara have three grown children, Ashlea and twins Tre and Camden. Rick has been the Youth Minister at the Brown Street congregation since 2011. When he’s not at a devo, camp, or a number of other activities the youth group is involved in, he enjoys spending time with his family. Rick’s favorite passage is Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
