MATT STALCUP

Matt Stalcup has been serving as the Facilities Caretaker at Brown Street since April 2011. Born in Garland, Texas, Matt journeyed to live in various cities including Houston, with stints in California and South Carolina, before he settled in Katy, Texas where he gradated high school in 1994.

Matt was baptized by his father in 1985 in Greenville, South Carolina. Later, at Lubbock Christian University, Matt's sisters introduced him to his future wife, Kristi. The couple married in 2000, and are proud parents to Haylee and Drew.

In his leisure time, Matt enjoys watching movies and TV shows, as well as bowling. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 2:1–5, which emphasizes unity and humility in Christ. Among his favorite experiences at Brown Street, Matt especially cherishes memories of the Fall Festivals.
