Lance Medford and his wife Amy met in elementary school in DeSoto, Texas. Their friendship blossomed over the years and their love story culminated with their wedding in 2002. Their love continued to grow with the addition of their four sons: Conner, twins Bradley and Cameron, and Blake. Lance’s spiritual journey began when he was baptized in 1994 at Ovilla Church of Christ by his Papa Medford.

Throughout his life, Lance found guidance in scripture, with 1 Corinthians 2:9 and Philippians 2:10-11 becoming his favorite verses. When he’s not working as a construction superintendent, he enjoys playful wrestling matches and playing football with his boys, or going to concerts with Amy. Brown Street is encouraged and uplifted daily by his large extended family that attends here, and Lance considers it a blessing to spend his time with them all.
